About our college

Denison College is an educational partnership between Bathurst High Campus and Kelso High Campus and is the largest public education provider in the Central West. With a current enrolment of 1,750 students, our college is a significant part of the region’s educational landscape and the first choice for many families in Bathurst and surrounding villages.

Denison College is proud that its core ideals of innovation, opportunity, and success are shared across both campuses and sit comfortably alongside the individual identity and history of each school. We are committed to providing every student with the opportunity to build their own pathway to success, while deeply connecting with a local school culture that will remain with them for life.

Denison College promotes collaboration across two established and well-renowned schools, which serves as the catalyst for programs and opportunities that deliver extensive educational experiences inclusive of all students. The cross-campus learning and extracurricular activities expand what is on offer and provide students with a breadth of choice unmatched by other local schools.

Denison College is more than a name — it is two schools walking alongside each other, recognising each other’s strengths and collaborating to bring together the best of both worlds. We are proud to continue playing a pivotal role in preparing exceptional young people who can lead locally, nationally, and globally.
